The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) has the SUAyED (Open University System and Distance Education). The program has study plans for upper secondary level, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees (open and distance). Admission to any of their plans is the same as in the classroom modality. Their programs are based on learning teams, where communication is through conferences, virtual groups and forums.
The educational model of UTEL is 100% online and with a profile focused on the immediate employment of the student. The programs are aimed at people with an active working life. Open and Distance University of Mexico (UNADM) is a higher education system that is part of the Secretariat of Public Education (SEP). It has 19 bachelor’s degrees, 13 at the university’s top technical level, 2 postgraduate degrees and 9 programs for Mexicans abroad.
The structure of the plans is composed of semi-annual modules, with a total of 1056 hours. Each period consists of four subjects. To enter any of its programs, a previous online registration and the solution of a skills questionnaire is necessary.
